Burlington Wine Club

Welcome to the Burlington Wine Club!
If you enjoy wine this is the club for you.
We meet monthly, including the summer months, and also hold off-site events. Each monthly meeting includes an introduction to the evening's itinerary by our Club Sommelier, followed by a presenter. The presenters, typically a winery or distributor, will provide an academic discussion about the tasting flights, the wine making process used and the environmental variables that contribute to the characteristics of the wine.

Meet like-minded wine lovers.
Learn about different wine regions and their unique differences.
Taste and purchase wines not availavble at the LCBO.
Enjoy food pairings specifically prepared to compliment the flights (Gluten Free and vegetarian alternatives are usually available).

The Burlington Wine Club was founded by David Kuhnke and our Club Sommelier, Teresa MacDonald. Both founding members have long standing interests and skills within the World of Wine and knew that Burlington wine lovers did not have a home of their own.
They planned and organized and communicated and held the inaugural meeting in February, 2015.
The first ever BWC night opened with a splash, with a very well received presentation from Signature Wines & Spirits, providing Wines and Ports, some of which could not be sourced through the LCBO.
There has been steady growth month after month with an impressive list of presenters.
